Character Info
Alan Kurayami is an average teenage boy, with a common hobby of sleeping and playing video games. He constantly has a jade necklace around his neck; it was given to him by a friend whom is now deceased. Secretly, Alan likes to try new things, and has strange tastes. He is very fond of milk, especially strawberry milk. Once Haruhi discovers this, she uses it as a method to lure and blackmail Alan. Coinciding with his hobbies and interests, Alan's famous quotes are, "Sleeping is healthy for you," and "Strawberry milk for the win!" Alan is from the "Real World", as some call it, a universe that runs parallel with the Fictional World.
Alan's family background has a long history. His father, originally Japanese, emigrated to Canada, where he met and married a European lady, so Alan is half Asian and half Caucasian. During his childhood, his parents were always busy with work, and were never at home. Due to this, he always felt lonely and depressed at home. As a result, Alan felt that school was his real home. However, when Alan entered Junior High, he became completely independent, and never relied upon anyone.
Power
Alan's slider power is 'nothing'. In other words, he can create spaces where nothing is allowed to exist. These spaces, due to lack of light, looks completely black.
