World Info
Normally, guides such as these are organized in an alphabetically. However, because of importance of this world, I’ll be starting off with Celestia.
Because of myself being one of the gods of Celestia I happen to know quite a bit about this world compared to other residents of Celestia. However, I’m disappointed to say I do not know everything there is to know about Celestia.
Before I say anything else about Celestia, it is important to note the following fact. -Any World or Character thought up by humans from the reality is created in Fictional Universe.
Now, Celestia is a most unique world in the fictional universe because it’s a world that gets bigger and bigger as it connects with other fictional worlds. The way this work is that residents of Celestia would randomly find ‘Gates’ that connects to a certain world. From that point on, that world is considered part of Celestia as residents from both sides can travel freely between each other using the mainland of Celestia as a bridge.
Mainland of Celestia is a huge planet that resembles Earth from the reality universe. I am a god of this main Celestia. It is in this mainland that Slider headquarters exists. Sliders are the characters that have special abilities that can travel between fictional worlds without having to use the gates. This means that they can even travel to worlds that doesn't have gates yet. This is quite useful as finding gates from the other worlds rather than the mainland can be easier at times.
There is an alternative method that I have developed that allows travel between fictional worlds without the use of gates. This is by using the ship I created. My ship, named “Principle of Charity”, is a unique ship that I’ve built solely for the purpose of helping me write this book. As a god of main Celestia, I cannot use the techniques that Sliders use to travel between dimensions. It’s not that I don’t know the technique; the technique itself is generally frowned upon amongst gods because it exhausts so much energy just jumping to one world.
My ship’s engine can travel about five worlds before having to cool down. I will not describe how the engine works as it’s a company secret. Although, I doubt anyone could make a replica of my ship even if I gave out the secret.
So it is on this ship that I start my exploration around the various fictional worlds that are not yet opened up by the gates. Before I go on to other worlds that I've been to, some in depth information of population of Celestia is written below.
Population
Three different type of entities coexist in Celestia. Most of the population consists of fictional characters. The remainder of the entities are 8 individuals that don't fit into any other categories; Divines and Shinigami. Divines are 7 individuals that are considered gods.(I'm one of them) Shinigami is also a divine but can be considered it's own class.
Shinigami
Shinigami has lifespan of about 1000 years before they reincarnate. There exists a school for training the characters to become the next Shinigami somewhere in Celestia, but the exact location of the school is only known by 7 divines and the current Shinigami. Characters that wish to enroll in this school has to seek this school and find it. Only when one finds it, they will be able to enroll into the school. Amongst the characters that study at this school, only one will be chosen during to become the next Shinigami. Only one Shinigami is allowed to exist in Celestia. Shinigami's power is responsible for the dead spirit characters that arriving in Celestia. This is pretty complicated process and has little to do with my job as a tour guide. However, this power is very important for the balance of every worlds because if spirits remained in their respective worlds after their death, they can possibly damage the living beings in that world.(The Current Shinigami is a mean one.)
Divines
Divines are seven guardian spirits that look over Celestia. Seven shrines are built across Celestia in honor of the divines.(Although my shrine is always empty) Divine use their powers to conceal their identities and live amongst the normal population of Celestia. No one will ever notice the divine unless they reveal it themselves. However, because they have lived in disguise so long, some of them have even forgotten the fact that they are a divine.(Even I don't remember name of all the divines.)
