Konata Izumi

Daughter of Kanata Izumi, Konata is the "leader" of the Lucky Star crew. She is considered an otaku, due to her father introducing her to games and eroge. Despite her habits, she can study and pass exams when actually putting effort, and is an outstanding athlete (when she tries).
Konata Izumi has yet to be voiced by a Voice Actor.
Character Info
Konata Izumi is an eccentric, but friendly and outgoing girl, with a mischievous, but good-natured sense of humor. She is smart, but hates studying, so her grades are not very high. However, Konata has mastered the ability to "pull an all-nighter" to gain reasonably high grades for tests. In contrast with her studying habits, Konata is strongly obsessed with games, so much that she can compete with friends in Trivia games, and win. Alongside her interest in games, she also has a large interest in anime and manga, influenced by her father, who raised Konata alone after his wife pass away when Konata was very young. Konata is also very athletic, but she refuses to participate in any clubs; she says that she will miss her prime-time anime if she joins a club. In the spare time created by not joining a club, Konata often watches anime, reads manga or plays games. In games, Konata uses the Online name Konakona, and plays as a male character. When playing games, she ends up staying up really late, so often falls asleep in class, which makes her a frequent victim of her homeroom teacher, Nanako Kuroi. Since Konata spends a lot of money on games, anime, manga and merchandise, she is often short on money. For that reason, Konata managed to find a part-time job in a Cosplay Cafe, where she cosplays Haruhi Suzumiya. Also working there is Patricia Martin, who cosplays Mikuru Asahina.
