One of the characters that the player would encounter early into the game. Nothing is special about Kyon, except that he's a perfectly normal human being surrounded by super-natural beings, namely Suzumiya Haruhi, Nagato Yuki etc.

Character Info
An average high school student, ever since meeting Suzumiya Haruhi, his life took an unexpected turn, and a rather eventful one too. Dragged into the SOS-Brigade, he got acquainted with Nagato Yuki, Asahina Mikuru and Koizumi Itsuki. Little did he know that all three of them are Alien, Time Traveller, and Esper respectvely. With the addition of Alan, the entire Haruhi's group of supernatural beings was complete. Alan's charateristics is largely derived from Kyon's, as they both act as the role of Tsukkomi, are lazy and hence dislikes Haruhi's burst of crazy antics, and they both are generally normal human beings. Pet phrase is "Yare yare", used when he's faced with situations that leaves him baffled. It is done by placing his right hand on his forehead (In the manner of a facepalm), shaking his head left and right while saying "yare yare". Fans of the series should know this very well.
Yuki-verse (Character details)
In the world where Yuki recreated due to a bug in her system, Kyon wouldn't be different in any aspect, but he would be the only person other than the player to realize that the world is messed up.

In-game
The player would only meet him after the prologue. Kyon's route is relatively mild and relaxed when compared to other characters' routes, as they're all based on Kyon's personality (which pretty much is slacked and relaxing). Recommended for players who wish to enjoy a slow-paced, easy and relaxed game. However, even though being slow-paced, it doesn't necessarily meant that Kyon's route will be boring. There will be parts where the route turns into a problem-filled one should the player manage to stay on Kyon's route throughout, namely during the chapter where Yuki recreated the world.
Yuki-verse (In-game details)
In the world where Yuki recreated due to a bug in her system, the player would be playing as Kyon's partner in helping the world revert back to normal.
