One of the characters that Alan meets early in the story. A time traveler from the future, she is sent from her higher-ups to keep a close watch on Suzumiya Haruhi.

Character Info
Mikuru is a member of the SOS-Brigade, the "moe" mascot, as referred to by Haruhi and Kyon. Before joining the Brigade, she was ordered by higher-ups from a future time to observe Haruhi Suzumiya, due to a massive timequake three years before. She posed as a second-year high school girl, and became friends with her classmate, Tsuruya. Because of Kyon, however, she was abducted by Haruhi and forced to become a member of the SOS-Brigade, still being created at the time. She eventually gave into her new position, and usually is happy to serve tea to her fellow club members (in her trademark maid costume), Itsuki Koizumi, Yuki Nagato, Kyon, and Haruhi. Her catchphrase is "Classified information~" when asked about information relevant to the future, or personal questions about herself.
Future Mikuru
During certain points in the story, Mikuru's adult self shows herself to Kyon (and later Alan himself) because of problems that may affect the future, or people that are essential to the future that she and her higher-ups currently live in. Like her "current" self, she has rules she must follow, such as not being seen by "herself", or revealing too much about the future, which may cause a time paradox (as with what happened with Kyon and a certain star-shaped mole). She is very much more braver than her "current" self, even allowing her "current" self to be kidnapped during another paradox Kyon was dealing with, to avoid catastrophe with Haruhi.
Mitsuru Asahina
Mikuru's alternate genderbent counterpart will be Mitsuru. Whereas Haruhi wanted the ultimate moe mascot for the brigade, Haruki will work to turn Mitsuru into "a man among men". Despite this, Mitsuru is still treated the same as always, even being forced to wear a maid costume for Haruki's perverted purposes before being forced to wear his trademark butler suit. He retains all of Mikuru's shy and timid personality, and will succumb to Haruki's power at his own will.
Mitsuru will be the token effiminate pretty boy, shota type character that makes him endearing to both girls and guys. Despite being male, he still manages to get molested by Haruki. Instead of the large breasts of his female counterpart, Mitsuru is apparently extremely well-endowed in the southern region, making the mirror image of Haruhi's jealousy to Mikuru's chest to Haruki's extreme rage and envy of Mitsuru's apparently "manly" parts.

In-game
The player meets Mikuru after the prologue, along with the other Brigade members. Mikuru's route will be based on a timid, shy and a little slow-based, as per her personality indicates. Due to her status as a time traveler, the player will meet both her present and future adult self if this route is taken, and may have to play along with time paradoxes.
