Rewrite is a being from a higher realm than Celestia.(Afterlife has a afterlife?) She does not have a physical form and appears and disappears like a ghost. Her powers allows her to rewrite her physical composition so she could appear in physical form if she wanted to. This is not quite like transformation since her size does not change.

Although she is a higher being, she is not more powerful than some of the stronger sliders. This is because her powers become limited while she is in lower realm. However, she can use her one of her powers to come very close to her original power that she had in the higher realm. This power requires her to merge her soul with one of the lower realm beings.

Rewrite is not interested in what happens to the world, primarily because this is not her realm and nothing will affect her even if the fictional realm was destroyed by demons. Instead, she likes to spend most of her time playing around. However, she will always try her best to keep promises if she ever makes one.

Rewrite is has friend & rival relationship with Kelona and they both have friendly competitions from time to time.
