A character that Alan meets after being mistaken for a Tomogara and being attacked by her. She is the main heroine of the series "Shakugan no Shana".
Because of her relationship with her crush Yuji Sakai and friend Kazumi Yoshida, it starts to affect both her powers and emotions. Her unsteady relations with both friends causes her to sometimes lose sight of other important tasks she deals with.
Shana has yet to be voiced by a Voice Actor.
Character Info
Shana herself is not a human, but a Flame Haze. She used to be a human, but due to making a contract with Alastor, a crimson lord, she became a Flame Haze and has eternal life. She holds a special bond with Yuji, on both mentorship and love, since he was the first to name her (Shana, after her katana "Nietono no Shana"), and was responsible to "humanize" her, showing her her own feelings of love which she unsure Yuji will return. She holds a great fondness for melon bread, is naive when it comes to social affairs and love (asking once how babies were made) and has a habit of usually saying "Shut up, shut up, shut up!" (Urusai, urusai, urusai!) to Yuji when asking her questions, makes remarks that disturb her original worldview, or just embarrasses her.
Despite these traits, she is feared and known by many Tomogara. Before she met Yuji, she was once ruthless and cold-hearted, dispatching her enemies without a feeling. She gained notoriety with future rivals and enemies, cautioning their plans and sending only hardened, powerful foes to fight with her par and sub-par. Her abilities as a Flame Haze include her proficiency with the Nietono no Shana, the ability to wield flame, manipulate the power of existence, harbor extrasensory traits, and fly with wings of flame. These traits, combined with Yuji's tactics, make both very powerful force.
